I’m happy to have you here.

My name is Bob Hankin. Being one to not fit into a single category, I would check the following boxes: dad, educator, graphic designer, aspiring letterer, garage woodworker, photo taker, analogy slinger, ceaseless seeker of new, equal parts analog and digital, and a nice guy.

My goal with this site is to share what’s going on in my life. I’m an associate professor of graphic design at a local university. Graphic Designer has been my chosen job title for close to 30 years. I’ve been teaching the masses about design for over 19 years. I’m a very non-academic academic.

Lately, I’ve been pouring my free time and mind into photography. I am absolutely in love with it. I’m soaking up everything I can. I hope to post photos here as I create them.

I could go on and on, but I’ll save some words for blog posts. I’m a huge believer in journaling and will use the blog section to share any worthwhile thoughts, insights, or discoveries.
